Steroid injections, (corticosteroid injections) are anti-inflammatory medicines used to treat a range of conditions. They can be used to treat problems such as joint pain, arthritis, bursitis and tendinitis. Steve is a highly qualified Advanced Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist, with a post graduate Masters level qualifications in Advanced Musculoskeletal Injection Therapy and Pharmacology as a qualified Independent Non-medical Prescriber.

Subacromial Injection
For the management of subacromial pain such as supraspinatus tendinitis and subacromial bursitis.

For the management of glenohumeral joint pain due to osteoarthritis and adhesive capsulitis (Frozen shoulder).
A shoulder x-ray is required prior to consideration and delivery of a corticosteroid injection.
